. Let's see...at the end of the month I'll be unemployed (most likely) because I decided to quit my horrible job and haven't found new employment yet. I'm starting to actually worry I might have to go back to restaraunts.
. I don't have another day off until Sunday, which is really far away when you hate your job.
. I have to work all day with the most annoying person on the face of the planet (she is really nice though so I feel terrible for kind of hating her).
. I won't get to go to lunch today with Carmen because Bryan has a meeting so he won't be here and I can't leave the new girl by herself so I don't get a lunch today!

layed on my couch all day either high as hell or asleep because of my pain meds
was all alone, despite being very very very sick
had to go to the ER yesterday, still have shitty hospital bracelet on, can't find scissors to take it off.
very hungry don't want sick food but that's all i can eat.
did i mention that I am at home and not at school?---this means no class all week. I will never be able to catch up from this.

It's alright. I may actually end up staying home even longer. (as in until friday) My doctor says that going back to school is just a terrible idea and i'm tempted to agree. what why in combination with the good things thread it is perfect

all the complaining makes me think about how short and precious life is, especially when compared against the monolithic nature of the universe. The petty squabbles and serious problems come head to head with good stuff, but in the end, every fades into the background music of the world. I can see it happening with my grandmothers. Already their children dismiss them and write them off as their minds fade and their experience becomes less relevant and applicable. They peter out like a candle losing energy. And in the end, when that last spark dies in the gray matter where we house our souls, oblivion awaits. We are small bags of meat and water walking around pretending at significance when in fact we are merely children dreaming we are adults.

So, y'know, that's why I'm not reading the thread anymore.
